Bio: Anh is pursuing a Master’s degree in Integrated Studies in Land & Food Systems. She holds a B.Sc in Global Resource Systems, specializing in agriculture and sustainability.

Research: Anh’s research focuses on the intersection of economics and conservation. She studies the species-specific costs of co-existence with wildlife, which entails the monetary estimation for the crop damage, livestock damage, human injuries and human deaths caused by wildlife conflict across 5,196 households living near 11 wildlife reserves in India. Her on-going project is looking at the spatial variables associated with those households  to study the probability of conflict with wildlife species. This study will provide predictive maps of human-wildlife conflict hotspots across India.
